5 November 2009: the parisian Quatuor DIOTIMA plays Sotelo’s new composition for string quartet la mémoire incendiée: la guitare at the Paiknan Concert Hall as part of the  Hanyang Festival in Seoul. The premiere of Sotelo’s third string quartet took place at the Festival de Música de Alicante on 23 September. 

3 November 2009: Sylvain Cambreling conducts the famous Klangforum Vienna at the Festival Wien Modern. Uli Fusseneger (Cb) and Vera Fisher (Fl) are playing the virtuoso solo parts of Sotelo’s Klang-Muro... I.  The first performance of this composition –wroten to mark the 25th birthday of the Klangforum Wien– took place on october 9th  at the Musikprotokoll Festival in Graz and was an absolute succes for the spanish composer.
